Mediterraneum is a show where the sensation the sea and freedom is palpable from the start of the event. Our guests are greeted by mermaids who perform a dance routine to welcome guests to the event venue.
The lighting as well as the visuals continually draw allusions to the sea and all the fantasies that it invokes.
Once the guests have taken their seats, a singing and dancing performance begins on the stage, set within a water fountain, with costumes, music and choreography all designed to symbolise the same element: water.
The singer enters from the main hallway along with the singing dancers, while projections of light fill the room, transporting the audience to the bottom of the sea, where the dancers’ costumes reveal the different forms of life that live in the depths of the ocean.
The following aerial dance of the mermaids embodies the sense of freedom that characterises the movement of the sea.
This act is followed by the glass of water or drop of water piece (see options), a symbol of life and freedom. The exterior choreography, which in turn reveals the interior, makes this performance truly sublime.
To bid farewell to the sea, there is grand finale with songs that invite attendees to dance beneath a spectacular shower of silver and blue confetti, submerging us in our own Mediterranean Sea.
